Stock Report Guide

NYSE Trivia

Did you know that the longest continuously listed company on the NYSE is Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc?

In 1824, it was originally listed as the New York Gas Light Company.

Web Sites

1. Type your company's ticker symbol or name into Enter Symbol box.

2. Once you have your company's info on the screen, click the Historical Prices link on the left.

3. Change date range.

4. Click Get Prices button.

5. Click the Download to Spreadsheet link under the Prices table.

6. Work your Microsoft Excel magic on your chart.

Company Annual Reports

Generally, the company web site will include a link to the most current annual report. Look for an "Investor Relations" or "Investor Information" link.

Larger companies often include older annual reports as well. If you don't see an "Investor" link, look for an "About Us" link.  Occasionally, annual reports are tucked away in this section.
