University of Illinois Commercial Agriculture is a division of U of I's Agriculture Extension, which is run by the University of Ilinois College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences and supports grain and livestock farm production.

The Illinois Livestock Development Group is a coalition committed to expanding the Illinois livestock industry.

The National Pork Producers Council represents and is governed by U.S. pork producers.  NPPC not only promotes industry supportive legislation, it also works for animal health and food safety, energy and the environment, and international trade.

The National Agricultural Safety Database provides information about agricultural safety and health issues.

Over the years, the Illinois Farm Bureau has evolved from advising farmers on basic farm management to sponsorship of agricultural legislation. Members include farmers with large and small operations in grain, livestock, or a specialty.

The Farm Bureau Federation is "the voice of agricultural producers at all levels."  It represents and is governed by farm and ranch families.

Research Knowledge Management is a division of the National Cattlemen Association.  Its mission is "Building demand and optimizing the business climate for beef through research and dissemination programs that serve as the foundation for sustaining beef industry success".

The National Milk Producers Federation represents most of the U.S. dairy farmers and their marketing cooperatives.
