Finding Children's Books: Children's Books

Children's books at Parkland are NOT all in one place!

• Storybooks (Fiction) are in the PZ 7 call number area.
• Nonfiction books will be throughout the library shelved with all books on the same topic. So children's music books are in the M call numbers, children's American history books will be in the E call numbers. It is difficult to "browse" for these books.

Use the catalog to find children's books. A simple keyword search that includes the world "juvenile" will find both fiction and nonfiction.

Parkland has thousands of children's books.  To find them, especially non-fiction, search the catalog.

You can also BROWSE in the PZ7 call number area, which is literature for children.
