Getting Started

Need to Find a Play?

Start with the catalog to see if the Parkland Library owns the play you are seeking. You can search by playwright or title.

Some popular playwrights include: Edward Albee, Christopher Durang, Lillian Hellman, Beth Henley, David Mamet, Sam Shepard, Neil Simon, Tom Stoppard, Tennessee Williams, August Wilson.

If you don't find the play you are looking for right away, don't despair!  It may be hidden in a collection or anthology.  You can search the catalog by themes such as "drama collections" "drama women" "english drama" or use other key words.

Inter-play lets you look up a play title or playwright and find the collection the play is hiding in.  Then you can search the collection title in our catalog. Note that you can use I-SHARE to borrow materials we don't own.

Still no luck?  Use the box to the left to ask us or stop by the library in person.
