Are you ready to share your intellectual contributions with the world?
Creating a profile in Parkland's Pure Research Portal will allow you to share projects, research, experience, awards, and much more! This guide will show you how to start.
Not sure yet? Check out the Portal below to see what others are doing.
Click the link below to fill out a form to request a research profile in Pure.
You will be responsible for maintaining your profile and submissions, but the Learning Technologies & Collections Librarian can offer guidance and assistance when needed.
Once your Pure profile is created, you will receive an email from purehosted@elsevier.com. Ignore it.
Use the link below to access your profile by signing in with your ParklandOne credentials. Pure is also an app available on the Parkland apps dashboard.
To add and update your personal information and profile picture, click Edit Profile under your profile photo.
Use the Metadata tab to add details about you, such as name variants, title, profile photo, curriculum and research description, work history, education, change profile visibility, and more.
Additional ID numbers such as your Scopus ID can be added under the ID section.
Click the + Add content button at the top right-hand side of your screen to add new submissions to your profile.
You can use the Submission guide to quickly jump to a commonly used template.
Click Save at the bottom of the box to save your entry. All entries are submitted for approval before they show on the public site.
Otherwise, browse by type of submission until you find the desired template. Submissions can range from course materials, research, presentations, grants, projects, prizes, and more.
If you publish, you can ask Pure to automatically search different platforms for your works in the Automated search tab when you edit your profile. Find the platform you want and toggle the switch to on. Pure will scan these platforms for new works every 7 days.
If a platform you wish to search is not available, reach out to the Learning Technologies & Collections Librarian to request the addition.
