Primal Pictures powers the Anatomy.tv platform to provide a 3D reconstruction of human anatomy based on real scans and imaging data. Features include 3D models, dissection tools, interactive features, embeddable text and video, quizzes, specialty content, and more.
The modules below are currently available to Parkland faculty and students. If the content doesn't cover your subject areas adequately, please contact Amanda Avery, Learning Technologies & Collections Librarian, to inquire how to get more subjects covered.
To access Primal Pictures, you only need your ParklandOne credentials. After clicking the database link, you may have to choose Parkland College as your institution, which will then lead you to the Okta login screen.

We pay for full copyright to the content in Anatomy.tv. If you would like to embed a movie or image from Anatomy.tv into your Cobra course, copy the iframe embed code from the Anatomy.tv module and follow these steps in Cobra. To learn more about obtaining an embed code in an Anatomy.tv module, please watch the training video.
Old Experience:
1. Add a new module or edit an existing one.
2. Click the blue Upload / Create button > Create a File

3. Click the Source Code button (you may have to click the 3 dots on the right side of the toolbar for this to show.

4. Paste the iframe embed code from Primal Pictures into the box between the <p> and </p> tags. Save when you are finished.

For the new experience, edit existing content or create new, and follow steps 3 and 4 above.
